Here's a summary of my Irvin family: William John IRVIN, married Catherine [unknown surname] They had (at least) three children: (1) William John IRVIN (born 18 Mar 1860/61, Philadelphia PA, died 6 May 1939, Philadelphia PA) He married Emma PARTENHEIMER (b. 25/26 Sept 1860, Philadelphia, d. 20 July 1924, Philadelphia), and they had 10 children: Emma IRVIN (1887-1965) Florence IRVIN (1888-1973) William John IRVIN (1890-1968) Catherine May IRVIN (1891-1982) Alfred Gerard IRVIN (1893-1985) Edith IRVIN (1895-1990) Harry Penn IRVIN (1896-1975) Sylvania IRVIN (b.1898, still living; just turned 100--my grandmother) Wilfred IRVIN (1902-1968) Theodore IRVIN (b.1904, still living). Thanks to one of my aunts, we have a lot of information about their descendants. (2) Gerard H IRVIN (b.5 Feb 1863, Philadelphia, d. after 1900). He married Ida M BARR (b. 1 April 1864, Chester County PA, died after 1910). They had one child, Isabelle IRVIN ("Belle") (b.July 1889, PA) (3) Elizabeth E IRVIN (b. Oct 1865, PA; d. 1910/20, DE). She married William A BOYD (b. Aug 1863, DE, d. 1910/20, DE). They had seven children: Elizabeth D BOYD (b. 1887, DE) William A BOYD, Jr. (b. 1889, DE) Charles Henry BOYD (b. 1891, DE) Walter Gerard BOYD (b. 1893, DE; d. 1978, DE?) Jennie S BOYD (b. 1895, DE) Alfred Lenhard BOYD (b. 1897, DE; d. 1966, DE?)
