Hello everyone, Thought that I would send my in my info: Mary Irvine Kennedy living in Louisiana ... searching for any info on Walter Irvine who married Ann Fitzhugh Rose in 1790 in Amherst Co. Va., another Ann Fitzhugh Rose , first cousin to the other Ann married Samuel Irvine also in Amherst Co in 1794..Samuel is most likely the brother of this Walter.. My Walter lived in Buckingham Co. Va at least for at time as my gggrandfather Samuel was born there in 1802. I think there were some legal documents there for him. ..My Walter was, from what I can gather ,a merchant.. My gggrandfather Samuel ,who was the son of a Walter Irvine, married Catherine Greenhill Jones of Nottoway Co. Va. about 1823/24, they went to Weakley Co. Tenn. and lived there the rest of their lives. I have been told that a death for a Walter Irvine was also included in some publication in Henrico Co Va in 1812 .Not sure if this is same Walter. I would like to know which of the Irvine's in the area of Amherst /Buckingham Co were the parents of Walter and most likely the parents of the elder Samuel too. Has anyone any info on a will for Walter or perhaps a will of an Irvine naming Walter as the son /heir. Perhaps anything naming children of Walter and Ann F. Rose Irvine?
