The cities of Mansfield and Shelby are in Richland County, Ohio) ASHLAND, OH -- Joyce Ann White Irvine, 63, of 140 Lauretta Ave. died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 6, 1999, at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Irvine was born November 15, 1935 in Lewistown, PA, the daughter of George N. and Mary Stewart White. She was a graduate of Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. Mrs. Irvine was a former school teacher, teaching third grade and eighth grade English and Spanish in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland. (Ohio) Family and wildlife were her greatest interests. Surviving are her husband, Jack E. Irvine, M.D., whom she married June 24, 1957; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Mark D. Elderbrock, M.D. and Nancy Irvine D.V.M. and her husband Craig Selby, D.V.M. all of Ashland (Ohio); one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Shirley Irvine of Shelby, Ohio (Richland Co.); her parents, George N. and Mary White of Lewistown, PA; four grandchildren, Emily, Molly, Betsy and Andrew Elderbrock; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Arden and Eleanor White of Lewistown, PA and Craig and Marie White of Sinking Spring, PA. No calling hours are planned. Funeral services will be today at 4:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Richard Boyer officiating. A private burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wildlife Haven, 3659 State Route 598, Crestline, Ohio 44827 or to St. Edward's School, 433 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
