Hi, folks. James IRVINE was b. 4 Sep 1755 in Lunenburg Co. VA; m. 26 Dec 1791 in Halifax Co. VA Mary MALONE, daughter of Daniel Malone and Sarah ?. James d. 3 Jan 1851 in Nicholasville, Jessamine Co. KY. Mr. Irvine had migrated to Jessamine Co. in October, 1797 according to his Revolutionary War pension application. His children appear to be as follows: 1. James ERWIN, b. abt 1797; m. 21 Oct 1823 in Lexington, Fayette Co. KY Ann Brown CLAY, daughter of Hon. Henry Clay and Lucretia HART. 2. Susannah IRVINE, m. 1814 in Jessamine Co. KY Charles D. A. CARTER. 3. Martha IRVINE, m. 26 Dec 1811 in Fayette Co. KY Virgil McCRACKIN. 4. Robert IRVINE, b. abt 1810; d. 22 Sep 1837 in Fayette Co. KY. 5. Frances "Fanny" IRVINE, m. 21 Apr 1812 in Jessamine Co. KY George BLACKMAN. The only descendancy I've been able to develop is from #1 James ERWIN and his wife Ann Brown CLAY.
