Hi all, After surfing the net for a few days, looking for any Rogans in County Wicklow, I've found at least one family listed in the Arklow christenings. Unfortunately, it only gives a half dozen names and year of birth. Can anyone tell me how I might be able to find details on these entries? My Ann Rogan isn't among the names, but I thought it might be worth following up on it. I've also been trying to find information about trade gilds in the area. Ann's father, Hugh, was a stonemason, so thought he might have been a member. Does anyone know of any particular areas of Wicklow, where stonemason's would have found work around the 1820's? As you can see, I'm trying every avenue I can think of! I found a Hugh Rogan listed in the Griffiths Valuation. I looks as if he was leasing land in Ballymanus, Kilpipe. Can I check this out any further? I'm finding these titillating little tidbits, but don't know what to do with them now. Thanks, Sharon
