After re-reading a letter from Thomas Earl Jnr to family in NZ dated 1909 I recalled a large photo we had at home of a racehorse named "Author Dillon". The letter stated that the writer had just visited the old stables belonging to Harry Earl. Whether this horse and owner are connected I can't be sure. I have tried all the combinations i can think of to find any info but drawn a blank. Any suggestions gratefully received. Anona
