A Google search using the words Glendalough Wicklow will provide many links to web sites relating to the area and its general history, for example; _http://www.glendalough.connect.ie/pages/articles/articles.html_ (http://www.glendalough.connect.ie/pages/articles/articles.html) A few pics. and history, etc. some of the poems are particularly good, (well not that good really, but I do have a failing ego to support.........lol). The local lead mining of Glendalough, Glenmalure and Glendasan were fairly prominent areas of employment around the time period that you are interested in. I have a few photographs of the general area that I could mail on, not very good quality though.
