Dear readers In the early 1980's I started an index of all stray marriages to be found in the Church of England and Roman Catholic records deposited in the Liverpool Record Office. I did this for almost 10 years and the index covers some 62,000 marriages. Not being able to access them for some years now due to the programme that they were typed in being DOS (double dutch to me) I have now, with help, been able to retrieve them and would like to start sharing the identifiable Wicklow ones with you. Please note that whilst there any many thousands of Irish marriages the exact place is not always identified but shown only as Ireland/Hibernia. Where at one time I could perform a search of the whole index for any particular name, this function is now unavailable to me. The majority of the writing was reasonably legible but please bear in mind that although I did my best at trying to decipher writing that was not so clear it would be wise for you, should any of them be of interest, to look at the original record if possible. I will give you all that is noted so cannot add any more information other than that supplied.
