Hello Ian, I sneaked a few days holidays and went over to Ireland, it turns out that Loch Garman (as he signs his mails) is in fact Co. Wexford in Irish! Believe it or not he was found in Wexford Library for me by a librarian sitting at a film reader with some Americans, I couldn't believe my luck! Spent 3 days with him and had a great time touring around with him and his other visitors. He has indeed got some Newsome information, and we are 2nd. cousins, his father and my g.father were brothers. Many thanks for your offer of help, but I see he has you also in his database.
