Hi Cyril - and Daz Many thanks for the info supplied to date. I havent been on this list for 24 hours and am already overwhelmed! Im particularly interested in mention on a couple of sites re 60 or so families moving from Avoca to cumbria 1860s to mine. Could my Niles be one of them?
