Their brother, Patrick came to Sydney in 1861 and paid deposit for both. John Shannon was in Departure Journal at LDS as traveling on Northumberland in 1862 but have not found him on Shipping Lists as were the Keogh people. There were others of the Keogh family came to Australia and although I have a list of these I have been unable to confirm their details. John Shannon and Catherine Keogh were married in St.Mary's Cathedral, Sydney in 1867. They lived at 83 Glebe Street, Glebe NSW after their marriage and had eight children. My mother, Winifred Agnes Shannon marr.Augustus George Veness and was the last born of the marriage, her twin sister, Maria having died at birth.
