RELIGION IF KNOWN :- All were Catholic GENERAL NOTES:- The main thrust of research is to prove the siblings relationship (and/or of other siblings if they existed) through traceable records. Luke, Mary and Michael have been established as children of Thomas and Mary through church records, but Patrick and Thomas are so far only related to the others on anecdotal evidence after emigration, although Luke's Will (proclaimed in South Australia) does describe Patrick as his brother. Thanks to the Wicklow list (courtesy Peggy Leonard and Cara) we have good data from Rathdrum church records prior to the time of emigration on the families of Luke (who married Ann Kirwin) and Patrick (who married Esther Nolan). Thomas was unmarried at the time of emigration. Some present family members believe Thomas (the father) married a second time but their is no evidence anywhere of this so far.
