    3. Hi, there! I don't know if we have corresponded before but the Deathes in my line are the ones from Lower Tinahask. My grandmothers sister, Theresa Lazenby was married to Thomas Death. I had asked a great aunt in Arklow for genealogy help and she wrote "Tom and Tess Death lived at #12 Lower Tinahask and had no family. Both of them died in the 1950's. Their house is now used as a summer house by a couple from Dublin" Thomas Death actually died on May 5, 1955 and his wife died in 1953. This Thomas Deaths father was William Death who was on Griffith's as living on Lower Tinahask in a home owned by Henry Hodgson, also living there was Henry Pierce. Many of the rest of my Lazenby and Leary families also lived on lower Tinahask. I have more information on the Lazenby and Leary lines but no more on the Deathes. I would appreciate it if you could share some of the earlier information with me. Thanks very much, Fran -----Original Message----- From: William MacCallum [mailto:willmacc@enoreo.on.ca] Sent: Friday, May 05, 2006 11:14 AM To: IRL-WICKLOW-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [Wicklow] Re: IRL-WICKLOW-DEATHE/TUTTY in ARKLOW Thanks Peggy. I have this one (my 2greatgrandparents marriage), but nothing before. Anything you have pre-1863 would be greatly appreciated! I have the births of many if not all of their children and Anne's death in 1879. There were many (at least 7) William Deathes in the Arklow area in the 1800s which makes it that much more of a puzzle. It would appear that my William Deathe was the one who lived at Tinahask Lower on Griffith's Valuation in 1852, but this is not proven. What are your "few others"...? Cara - thank you for the thought about Australian Deathes. Although we are not descended from them, they could very well be descended from the Arklow Deathes as we are.
