Hi I am keen to learn more about my NILES family from wicklow- according to England Census returns. I have John NILES born 1821-1835 Co Wicklow, his wife Ann with same timespan. Children are Robert circa 1848, Patrick circa 1850, Elizabeth circa 1858 and John and Ann circa 1862 all Co Wicklow. It is possible from IGI that John and ann were married 1860 but that could be guesswork on the submitters part. The family came to Cumberland England I am assuming,1860s - Patrick married there 1870. They were Iron Ore Miners in cumberland, living in Arlecdon, Cleator Moor, Frizington areas. The family are Catholic. If anyone has any info I would be thrilled- I dont even have a village in Co Wicklow, likewise if anyone can point me in the right direction to find out more please do so. Thanks Carol
