And there are three adjoining Carrig townlands - Upper, Lower and Mountain - in Kiltegan civil parish, and located 2 to 3 miles N to NNE of Kiltegan town, on Carrig Mountain itself (after all, Carrig means rock...... and what better place to find them - than on a mountain <gr>). .............................................................................. ...
