Information I would like to locate: Patrick RYDER, Michael MURRAY, John DOYLE, Andrew BYRNE and Bessie CULLEN were present at the marriage of John O'NEILL and Mary DOYLE in Dec 1855. If I could find information on any of these people from the Catholic register for Barndarrigg it may show some relationship to my ancestors. Family oral history says Ellen Ryder is the mother of Mary Doyle, so I am very interested in informaton about Patrick RYDER. I have not found any siblings or other relatives in the U.S. Occupation: Farm Laborer - purchased 100 acres in Crawford Co, PA in 1858 by land contract. The land was mostly covered by pine forest, only 30 acres cleared. I think John O'NEILL enlisted as a private in the 49th NY voluntary infantry in Jan 1864 to collect the bounty money to support his family.
