I have RC Mellons, but am unaware of where they came from. They settled in the Philadelphia, PA, USA area. They are mentioned as godparents to my Dowling relatives, who came from Wicklow. At this time I know nothing, other than their names. Can you provide anymore info on your Mellon folks? In 1858, in Canada, Catherine married John Murphy from Parkmore, Carnew parish, Co. Wicklow. Catherine is, I believe, the Kitty Tigh who was godmother for Margaret Mullery (d/o Hugh Mullery and Judith Mellon) in Parkmore, in 1849.
