    3. Dear Cara, On the strength of your recent email I am again submitting stuff I sent to the list only a week or so ago. If this turns out to be repetitious for you then I apologise straight up. It's just that your mention of Gremlins started me thinking. Until yesterday, I had not seen a single email from the list for two weeks. This, it seems to me, is very unusual. Usually there is something to look forward to at least every other day or so. Now I think there must have been Gremlins, and I don't know which direction of traffic flow was affected. My current "road block" is the parents of my ancestor Thomas Trainor (born about 1836). I have information that apparently his brother Luke, was baptised in the Kilavaney ( Catholic) Church, near Tinaheley, on 22nd September 1822 and was the son of Thomas Traynor and Mary Connors. How can I find out who were Luke's siblings, and thus have the evidence I need for the tree I have tentatively drawn up? I also believe that there was another brother Patrick (born abt 1825) and they three migrated to South Australia in the mid 1800s. To allay your interest in why I am in pursuit of my family tree; As a child, I became aware that my ancestry was not spoken of all that much. I did not know why then but apparently the Trainors, of any generation, are not regarded as "good communicators". Now that I am (much !!) older, I have resolved to leave something more for my grandchildren - a history they will hopefully be proud of - a history that will enhance their own understanding of themselves and their own identity. The pursuit has been challenging, at times exciting, and always rewarding. I find warm fellowship among family historians that extends from the local library to the far corners of the globe. I meet people like you, Cara, whose contributions make the "global village" a reality. Thankyou. Regards Terry Trainor
