The above names were on the marriage cert. of John Shannon, Cty.Cavan, marred Catherine KEOGH at St.Mary's Cath. Sydney in 1867. Catherine KEOGH came to Australia with her brother John in 1862 on "Northumberland". Their brother Patrick came to Sydney on "British Trident" in 1861. There are many KEOGH's recorded in Australian records which I have seen and in GV they are shown as having properties in the Hollywood Area in Wicklow. Ann TOOMY, the mother of Catherine appears to have come toAustralia but without the marriage or death of Dermot KEOGH, showing the children of the marriage, Icant find out the KEOGH's who are part of Catherine"s family.
