Thanks to Paul for his suggestions. For myself, I have planned two or three days in Dublin before going to Wickow and am in the process of researching what can be found where in Dublin so that I don't waste a minute. I will also spend a couple of days at the end of my trip to follow up on anything I find while tramping around cemeteries, following suggestions and hunches, and looking at old homesteads. I have been researching in Canada and via the net for many years, as have many others, and have almost exhausted what can be accomplished long distance. The internet, fellow searchers, and lists such as this one have filled in and added branches to my tree. In fact, one bit of info recently provided by Cara, and later corroborated by others, has finally, after so many years of searching by me and others in my family, given me the name of the town in Wicklow where the family originated. A breakthrough and timely as it will save me a lot of fruitless searching in all the wrong places. I don't know if or when I will get back to Ireland, so any suggestions from those who live there or have made family history research trips are most welcome. Terri
