Michelle - I notice Dwyers in Hacketstown parish (RC) in the 1800's. Take a look at http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlcar2/Baptism_Hacketstown_1.htm Also, there is the Irish Heritage Site: Dwyer McAllister Cottage in Derrynamuck, Knockanarrigan (SE of Donnard). in 1799 Michael Dwyer, famed rebel, fought the British troops and later escaped. There is a restored (once burned to the ground) cottage. I know there are Listers researching this surname on the Wicklow List but I guess there have been recent problems with some Internet Service Providers blocking Rootsweb List emails. I hope you hear from some of your 'cousins.' Sharon Kavanagh At 10:30 PM 4/1/2006 -0500, you wrote: > > >Hello all. I am new to this list.
