Some of you may never have met this wonderful man but --- he called me Ma and we shared much in the way of research, especially the Three Miles Water Wicklow--- he wasnt my son, but he enjoyed the humour of calling me that, but he and his wife Mary did become good friends with some of us through this list ******** It is with much sadness that I write to inform you of the sudden death of my Friend Keith Taylor on the morning of Saturday 22nd April 2006. The family are in shock at how quickly events took their course. Some of you may be aware that last year Keith was diagnosed with cancer. Some of you may now be just finding this out but Following a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy the tumour appeared to have reduced, and he seemed to be a lot brighter and happier within himself. Recently the pain and discomfort re-emerged, and he became quite frail and unsteady. During the early hours of Saturday 22nd, he took a fall while at home, and as a consequence was taken to hospital by ambulance. Initially, following routine tests, he appeared to be making a slight improvement. In fact he was reported to have been chatting to the doctors and nursing staff from around 9.00am. Within the next 2 hours his health deteriorated dramatically, and he passed away at 11.20am. The deterioration was so rapid, family members were unable to be with him when he died. The cause of death would appear to be complications with the cancer and a blood clot in his lungs. He will be dearly missed by his family --- a fun loving and wonderful friend called home Cara
