This is a huge thank you to Cara - Yesterday while scouring the "net", I found a marriage announcement for Richard Beacham Alcock; parents George Alcock and Jane Glynn of Wicklow. I passed this on to another family member in Ontario and he was motivated to do some searching and came up with a post of Cara's on Rootsweb - Cara Links- a birth of Elizabeth Jane Alcock, parents George Alcock and Jane Glynn. Confirmation of a branch of my family that has been elusive for so long, and confirmation that my Alcock line came from Wicklow. If anyone else has any information about George Alcock and Jane Glynn, please post - with my trip to Ireland coming up in October, this information will be invaluable and save many hours of searching.
