Greetings from California! And thank you Cara for inviting us to post our interests again! I'm still searching for my gg grandparents William (middle initial T?) WHATELY & Hannah WHITE They married in the Diocese of Ossory in 1833 according to the Family Search site. Their children were Thomas, Elizabeth, William, Catherine, George, Hannah, Deborah, Alice and John, born 1855, who I descend from. The family was Church of Ireland and towns associated with them are Baltinglass, Kiltegan and Kyle where my g grandfather John was born. All of the children but Deborah emigrated to Canada and the US in the 1860s - the parents William and Hannah stayed in Ireland. They owned a farm and today it is supposedly owned by Joe Jackson in Bortlebeg. My grandmother's notes also state there were other WHEATLEYs in and around Dublin.
