I am trying to find connections of Thomas McLean Nugent who left Ireland to come to Australia in 1850 with his uncle Robert McLean (he travelled as his uncle's son as he was underage) and landed in Australia on the Jenny Lind. He disembarked at Pt Adelaide in Sth. Australia on the 13th. June 1851. He was only 10 yrs. old when he arrived. He came from county WICKLOW IRE. but do not know the town from which he came. The other members of his family went to America We think and he did not hear from them again. He married twice his first wife died leaving 5 children and he married again and his second wife had 8 children. The only clue that I have is his fathers name was also Thomas but do not know his mothers name except I know his first daughter was named Elizabeth and I think the mothers maiden name must have been McLean.
