Ok Cara, heres a search then, Looking for the descendants of Catherine Eager, b. 17th Feb 1816, Ballinafoyle Wicklow. She married Henry Heaney of Ballinacone, possibly at St Peter's Church, Kiltegan. The Eager family were Church of Ireland. I have no further information on this couple - I have managed to trace descendants from Catherine's brothers and sisters, but nothing has turned up on this line. Perhaps they emigrated? Any help would be most appreciated. Susan

Hi Susan, Roland Heaney is still the Rector of the Church of Ireland at Redcross and I think he is a Canon now. I'm not sure about that but if you go on to the Church of Ireland website his name may be there. Redcross is not far from Rathdrum. I have written to him in the past about my Burnes who are buried at Redcross but he was away on holiday the time I tried to see him (summer over there). He may be able to help you with the Heaney name.
