Hi Sheila, I am not researching Plunkett ( as far as I know) but as I have mentioned previously there are lots of information about the Drivers on the Ellis Island Website and later on The US Census. My interest concerns The Benjamin Driver marriage to Susan Jackson in 1862 and the two witnesses: Jacob JACKSON (my husbands Ggrandfather I guess, as he was Susan Jackson's Uncle) & Richard HAWKINS ( who might be related to the Jacksons) Benjamin & Susan Driver emigrated to America about 1891 after their children had grown up. Some of the children seem to have stayed in Ireland and some joined their parents in America. Anyone researching the Hawkins will find a lot of information on The FamilySearch Pedigree Resource File. I hope some of this will help somebody. I hope to find out more about Jacob JACKSON and his father Peter JACKSON.
