Gordon, Rebecca's background is well established. In research I did for and with Tony Valentine in the early 1980s her position in the Valentine family was definitely found. We published the early Valentine material in the first two issues of the West Wicklow Historical Society Journal. We ran out of steam then, so the information on later generations was never published, partly because many of the links had not been definitely established.
