Anything known about William MEATES (MATES?) born about 1817, son of Thomas MEATES and Sarah RADFORD. William married Ellen HODGINS from Co Offaly (KIngs Co) in Thomastown Co Kilkenny on November 10th 1838 They later migrated to Australia and New Zealand.
