Thanks to all who answered my enquiry about Thomas Greene. I am trying to determine the connection between Thomas Greene and the Weeks family of Donaghmore Parish in the 1840's and 1850's. His name was given as a person" to whom known" in an application for assisted passage to Van Diemen's Land, dated May 8th 1849. This application was for Mary Weeks and six of her children. Was he their landlord, employer ??? The Weeks family were Catholic. I have no reason to believe there was a family relationship. Paul Gorry mentions an article in the West Wicklow Historical Society Journal. I live in Sydney, Australia. Can I obtain a copy from here? Yvonne
