Hi from Brisbane Gore was my mother's maiden name and her father and mother were": Herbert Gore m Rose Ryles in 1913 - his parents were: Frederick Gore and Helen Will m 1888 At this stage I do not know where Frederick came from, Helen came to Australia at the age of 18 as an assisted passage from Perth, Scotland. This family lived in Sydney. Herbert Gore had the following siblings that I know of: Arthur D b 1889 and Doris L b 1891 I have just started researching my mothers side and as not one of them are still alive, including my Mum, it is a little difficult. Mind you not as difficult as trying to find my surname of Wolloghan which supposedly comes from Wicklow. Keep in touch.
