Yes I know the IGI is not reliable. These two entries are patron submissions in 1991 and have no further information. It has been claimed for over 20 years that LPC [1] is the son of Andrew Culloden and Ann nee PEARSON with no proper source. BUT I have a church record from St Nicholas Without, Dublin City of a Lawrence Pearson CULLODEN [2] son of Michael CULLODEN and Jemima nee HALL born 22 November and baptized 25 Nov 1791- my lot. Yes I know LPC has the middle name of Pearson BUT there was a deed between Lawrence PEARSON and Michael CULLODEN, LDS 536063 526 516 345208, involving the HALL, CULLODEN and PEARSON families. LPC supposed son of Andrew and Ann CULLODEN died on 4 Jul 1849 at St John's, Nelson, Ontario, Canada according to someone - no source given. I wonder if anyone can help me solve this quandary - are there two LPCs born in Ireland in two neighboring counties between 1785 and 1791. It appears that the dates supposed for LPC [2] have been calculated from the date of his marriage in 1814 to Anna Eliza EAGER in Blessington, Wicklow and the assumption that LPC [2] was also born in Wicklow.
