Hello Thank you very much to those kind poeple who have offered advice and asked for more details. His name was William Willoughby and he married Lilian Sloane Glasgow in Auckland New Zealand 10 April 1894 he gives his age as 28 and that his birthplace was Ireland. On both this and his death certificate his parents are given as John Willoughby and Alice Young. His fathers occupation is given as woolbroker. William died 29 November 1944 at Totara Point in Thames New Zealand, his age is given as 79. It states that he was born in Wicklow Ireland and that he had been in New Zealand for 58 years. I have several sheets of paper that I have found in my Mother's things that relate to the family his parents are listed and the names of five siblings. His siblings are listed as John, Thomas, Sarah, Alice and Anthony. I have now got more names that I am trying to connect and to confirm with evidence that they are all related.
