    3. I could look up the reference for you if you want to get a certificate Cheers for now from Valerie in sunny Sydney -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Annie Massey Sent: Tuesday, 2 December 2008 1:48 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [IRL-WICKLOW] Willoughby family Hi Vicki: If your relative was born from 1864 onwards, his birth should be in the Irish civil register of births. The indexes of these births are available on film from the Latter Day Saints, if you are near one of their libraries. The LDS has been transcribing the indexes so they can be made available online but I don't think they are ready yet. When you know the index (volume and page) of birth, you can order a birth certificate from the General Register Office of Ireland, for a fee. 3. Hi Valerie That would be great. I would love to have a certificate but I don't have a date of birth only a span of three possible years. 3. Can you send me what details you have in the following format only with " Irish Civil Registration lookup " [without the "s] in the subject line: EVENT: YEAR: SURNAME: GIVEN NAME: PLACE: If you have any further comments or explanations please list them at the end. As I do many lookups for many people I need to have a regular format for your messages to finish up in the correct folder.
