ROUNDWOOD Is a considerable village about 10 miles from Bray, and 8 miles from Greystones, and 7 from Rathdrum. Pleasantly situated on the river Vartry, in the Parish of Derryglossary and Union of Rathdrum. The waterworks of the Dublin Corporation are the chief feature of the district; the first sod cut 60 years ago by the late Sir John Grey to whose memory there is a monument erected in O'Connell Street, Dublin.
