The 1901 Census for Arklow shows a daughter Ellen Martin, age 17, born in Armagh, wife Ellen was 45 years old, a son James was 9 years old, a son Joseph was 6 years old, a daughter Josephine was 16 years old, and a daughter Kathleen was 12 years old. In 1911 Census, Patrick was 67 years old and a widower, born in Monaghan. A daughter, Mary A. aged 29 is also listed at that address. In 1901, a Mabel Martin aged 25, is listed as living in #6 Marlboro Terrace, the wife of William, Church of Ireland. Her husband William was 25 yrs old and an explosives worker, probably at Kynocks Munitions.
