    1. Re: [IRL-WICKLOW] Question about Civil Birth Record

    3. Yes, you and Paul are correct. This is not an original copy but a copy of the civil registration as supplied by the IFHF. It does contain quite a bit of the information you have outlined, such as: Name (of child) Date of Baptism/Birth Address Parish/District Gender County Denomination (Here they listed "Civil Record") Father Mother Occupation Sponsor 1/Informant 1 Sponsor 2/Informant 2 Notes I show this in case anyone was wondering what the IFHF was providing. Thanks to your responses I now understand that the name listed for the Sponsor/Informant was the father in this case, and (thanks to Cara) that he made his mark with an "X" I knew that this List would set me straight Thanks again Frank ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Daly" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 06, 2009 1:19 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-WICKLOW] Question about Civil Birth Record > What you have is a transcript from a database.
