Dr William Carmichael was born circa 1819 in Dublin and died in Adelaide South Australia - His parents were Andrew Blair Carmichael and Jane Calbeck of Co Wicklow Ireland - It appears he may have been married before he left Ireland as he left behind a daughter Jane Ellen Carmichael who married a John Hayes in around 1868 in Dublin Dr William Richard Carmichael Arrived aboard the Irene to Adelaide in 1854 and then he married Mary Anne Holland who was born in Co Cork Ireland, they married on the 28/5/1856 he was 35 years old and she was 23 years old they wed in the Residence of William Richard Carmichael at Korringa SOuth Australia Children from this union are Hugh Carmichael born 26/6/1863 Tanunda South Australia Andrew Blair Carmichael born 21/3/1866 at Kapunda South Australia Frederic Arthur Moore Carmichael born 8/6/1861 at Tanunda SOuth Australia Wiliam Richard Howard Carmichael born 20/9/1859 Kapunda SOuth Australia Ellen Carmichael born 19/10/1871 at Freeling South Australia Elizabeth Calbeck Carmichael born 28/8/1868 Kapunda SOuth Australia Mary Anne Carmichael born 21/3/1857 at North Kapunda South Australia So anyone have anthing more on the parents of William Richard Carmichael I would be happy to see it.
