    3. I am curious where on the site you did this; I tried entering data with no name on the home page and got a message saying you have to enter a surname. Could you explain in more detail please. Thanks, Terri Hi I just noticed family search.org has added these recently. Searchng eg ontario deaths using no surnames only wicklow ireland as a place name may find something eg James Eves born Wicklow 1841 died 1911 Ontario parents Mark Eves and Ellen O'Toole. Hours of fun:) Carol

    3. Hi Sorry for being vague, I use the site a lot and forget others may not. Go to home page then clck on search records {top left hand part of screen} chosse record search plot- a new screen then opens. click on the canada map then clck on ontario deaths listed under canadas entries, then click on "more" rather than enterng details, then a new screen comes up. Enter Wicklow in place and search. Have fun and dont hesitate to query my instructions cos they are as clear as mud. carol On Tue, Jun 16, 2009 at 6:56 PM, Terri Alcock<[email protected]> wrote: > I am curious where on the site you did this; I tried entering data with > no name on the home page and got a message saying you have to enter a > surname.  Could you explain in more detail please. > Thanks, Terri > > > Hi > > I just noticed family search.org has added these recently. > Searchng eg  ontario deaths using no surnames only wicklow ireland as > a place name may find something > eg James Eves born Wicklow 1841 died 1911 Ontario parents Mark Eves > and Ellen O'Toole. > > Hours of fun:) > > Carol > > *************************************** >  1- Only leave in the body of the mail what is relevant to your answer > > 2- Change the SUBJECT LINE to suit the body of your own Mail to List. > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >

    3. I would love to know where they found the name EVES or what it is the derivative of, bet they did not explain that little matter to you to aid the search, seing as they are linked to Toole name also. Yes if you can throw a candle on the name EVES and give me a glimmer of what it may have been would help Carol, well it would help Cara as well. Cara

    3. Hi, Enter a SURNAME and COUNTRY (optional) only, then Search. On the top right, under Sources Searched, selected IGI. This will give you the option to enter Counties, States, etc, depending on which country you want. From there, pick Refine Search and you can enter first names, births, marriages, deaths, years and range. The only thing you can't do is enter parent's names WITHOUT the persons First Name. hope this helps.
