    3. Carol If you go to http://www.groireland.ie/docs/MarriageEnglishApp.doc you will find most of the answers you need and also the form to fill in with your order. Do you know that you can receive a copy of the registration for 6 euro, and this contains exactly the same information as a cert at 10 euro? The form and your payment should be sent to Roscommon address. How about getting a Bank Draft for the 6 or 10 euro? Not sure if you can arrange this to be drawn on an Irish Bank from where you live, but you could ask at your own bank. You will see what is acceptable on the above. If you were to Fax your request with details of your Visa Card (or similar) I would think that would be safe. In 1847 you will just need to quote Names, Year, District, Volume No. and Page No. Hope this helps Joyce > > Im desperate to get my hands on John Niles and Bridget Sulavans marriage > cert- Rathdrum 1847 vol 9 page 573. > > Ive confused myself re whether I should be applying to GRO Dublin or > Roscommon, Ive read countless sites and messages and am lost. > > Im also wondering where I get a pps number from or is this irrelevant for > this time frame. 3. Hi Joyce Thanks for your reply. I think the cost of getting a money order etc is expensive when Ive looked into it in the past for sendng deposts for Bed and breakfasts we have booked. I know c card will be safe but my hubby will blame and kill me if I give the 3 digit code out and we get more fraud. Sayng that what he doesnt know wont hurt him and if I post the details then it should be safer than online shopping.
