    3. Hi list, I e-mailed the list yesterday, but it's possible that e-mail went astray. If it didn't, then please forgive me for repeating myself! My Gt-Gt Grandfather was a sailor called Denis Manning, who emigrated to Ratcliff in London in the early nineteenth century. He was born around 1800, and came from Kilbride, and since I am completely new to Irish records, I'm hoping that some kind soul on the list can help me. I came upon a message posted in 2004 from Peter Manning, who appears to have done considerable research on the Irish Mannings or Mannions. Unfortunately, when I e-mailed him the message was returned by the Mail Admin., so I assume he has changed his e-mail address. If anyone knows how I can contact Peter, or if he is reading this himself, please get in touch. It appears very likely that 'his' Denis Manning and mine are the same person! Also, if anyone on the list has any information regarding this family, I would love to hear from you. I am fortunate in being a short walk away from the Essex PR Microfische, and would be happy to do any look-ups for you,so please do get in touch if I can help you. Thanks in anticipation. Chris Manning. Colchester,Essex

    3. Whilst it is simple to say Manning of Kilbride I now have to ask which Kilbride Chris as we have Kilbride just outside of Arklow ( Dave Griffith is the Manning researcher on list and has a site) and then there is Manor Kilbride closer to Dublin so which one is it?
