Hello, I'm new to the list. My grandmother was Mary MAHAR (b. 25 Jul 1862, d. 18 Jul 1925) and came from Carnew, Wicklow. Her husband was James HERALD. James's first wife was Elizabeth LOFTUS. It is family legend that Mary and Elizabeth were cousins. If so, perhaps Mary came from Wicklow, too - we don't know her original county and are hoping for a match. It is also wildly plausible that James's family (Edward HERALD, Mary Ann COOK) were from Wicklow. Any help on any of the three surnames would be appreciated.
