Robert, there are plenty of us here. All lists go through lulls, more than made up for by frenetic activity at other times. It would assist receiving help if you were to give any known dates, even approximate. Also it could pay to put your subject interest in the subject line. That way it may attract more appropriate attention, now or in the future. Hello. I'm a new member to the list hoping to learn of my ancestors. From the last few appends, it sounds like there are very few people here. I'll post anyway. My g-g-father (Edward HERALD) and his wife (Mary Ann COOK) came from Ireland but I don't know the county. My g-father (James) married Elizabeth LOFTUS, also from Ireland, also of unknown county. Elizabeth died and James married her cousin, Mary E. MAHAR from Carnew, Wicklow, Leinster, Ireland. The thought is, perhaps someone knows about the LOFTUS-MAHAR connection in Wicklow. Does anything sound familiar?
