Hello. I'm a new member to the list hoping to learn of my ancestors. From the last few appends, it sounds like there are very few people here. I'll post anyway.   My g-g-father (Edward HERALD) and his wife (Mary Ann COOK) came from Ireland but I don't know the county. My g-father (James) married Elizabeth LOFTUS, also from Ireland, also of unknown county. Elizabeth died and James married her cousin, Mary E. MAHAR from Carnew, Wicklow, Leinster, Ireland. The thought is, perhaps someone knows about the LOFTUS-MAHAR connection in Wicklow. Does anything sound familiar?

No need to wonder the list simply ground to a HOLT ( No pun intended) when I took myself out of Tasmania to Ireland It happens but as I have said give until the end of September and you will be wishing you had not stirred my zing for research, and no your mail is not being spammed by us, from Rootsweb, I just left things at a slow pace to ease my burdens whilst i took a well earned Holiday. But seeing as you are all waking up and wondering about things I may pull a few things out of my mystery bag, but as I have said dont forget to check the Archives of the IGP CO WICKLOW list and see what Chris has placed there- Because i suspect Joyce is still clicking away in this sunshine, and adding data to that archive for Wicklow Also dont forget the newer net sites that are posting bits and pieces I cannot list the URL for now, but it does lead me to ask, how many of you located family in the 1901-1911 census and connected some dots............?
