Just of interest Frederick Charles Loftus was born about 1884 and died March 1961 at Lower Cullen Co Wicklow Ireland and was buried at Dunganstown on 4th March 1961. Margaret Loftus who may have been born nee ? died December 1938 and was born c1852 is also buried at Dunganstown Co Wicklow 1938 Wiliam Loftus was born around 1846 and he died Nov 1899 at Knocknapark ( now I am not sure i have this townland correctly deciphered) he has a son Richard Loftus who married Sarah Smith 15th Dec 1906 Sarah was born around 1874 and died Nov 1920 at Stockadon Villas Landulph S. Mellion East Cornwall her father was George Smith Bride was full age and a spinster Groom was full age and a bachelor they were married by church of Ireland licence and by James Wright the rector Marriage was witnessed by Edward Smith and Frederick Loftus who is the brother of Richard. Their father William Loftus lived in Co Cork Ireland I am miles from my own office, but I think and remember this is only a think, from this distance that William Loftus born c1846 may have been a clergyman. Also the associated burials of Loftus folk at Dunganstown does give the conclusion that they also lived and died in the area for many years. Whether this family is a branch of the family from Co Wexford I cannot say at this time in my research. I am adding it here to show that a Loftus family did indeed live in Co Wicklow for many years.
