Dear Ann, I note that in 1901 I note living at Clonnatin Road also known as Pot Lane is Luke Byrne but he is listed as a farmer aged 61 not married Born Co Wexford So this was within the townl of Gorey so the Byrne family you seek may be in Rural Wexford just outside of Gorey. A Bridget Byrne died 12th June 1901 she was aged 63 years and her last known address was Gorey Hill ( out of the town of Gorey) Buried in the Gorey Cemetery. Which to my reckoning for child birth may mean she was too old for having children but she is the only Bridget in your time frame to die in Gorey. But travelling on there are three Arthur Byrnes who died in Gorey Arthur aged 64 died Tara Hill 18/7/1973 Arthur aged 50 Died in the Work house Gorey aged 50 5/3/1850 Arthur aged 75 died in Gorey 2/4/1872 aged 75 Interred Gorey Cemetery I then have these two Luke Byrnes 1- Died 11/1/1881 in Gorey aged 76 2- Died in Gorey aged 62 19/4/1901 I can find nothing to match the children Eleanor and Catherine unless they died unmarried I have no hope of matching those names. And of course I have no idea if this is of any use to you at all. But at least you know I have looked for you I feel you would know of Michael born 19/4/1875 to your Arthur and Bridget Corcoran and North City Dublin --- Cheers for the moment Cara > > My Arthur Byrne was living in Dublin at 15 Amiens St, in 1868 but no trace > of > him was found subsequent to that date. Hi You probably already know this, Ann, but Luke Byrne + wife Bridget + son Arthur (aged 3) + son Edward (aged 2) were living at Creggs town, Galway at the time of the 1901 census, so perhaps Bridget died there rather than Leitrim or Tullow? Regards Colette
