    3. Timeframe. 1800-18?? Location. County Wicklow area between Rathnew and Newcastle, possibly living Killeskey Parish, townland Ballybla in 1850s (Griffith's Valuation of 1854). Not in either census - probably died in period 1860-1875. William FOX born circa 1795-1805 and Sarah WILLIAMS born circa 1805-1810. Believed to have been born, lived, married and died in County Wicklow. Children (all except Francis baptised at Wicklow RC parish) include: Francis FOX b. abt 1830 Margaret FOX b. 1832 sponsors John Fox and Eliza C. Mary FOX b. 1834 sponsors Pat Fox and Catherine Fox Robert FOX b. 1836 sponsors Abraham Healy and Kate Williams William FOX b. 1838 sponsors Daniel Fox and Elyn Fox Joseph FOX b. 1840 sponsors George Fox and Anne Britt Sarah FOX b. 1843 sponsors Anthony Fox and Catherine Fox note: sources for baptismal information from Irish Family History Foundation online records. Religion believed to RC as 6 children baptised in Wicklow RC parish. William FOX's occupation listed on marriage certificates of 2 sons in late 1860s is land steward. Seeking any information on William FOX and Sarah WILLIAMS, my gggrandparents and any info on their offspring Margaret, Mary, Joseph and Sarah. Additional data on children of William FOX and Sarah WILLIAMS: Francis FOX married Elizabeth SLATER at Wicklow COI 17 Aug 1868; witnesses were William MALION(MALLON) and Rosa MALION. He lived in Ballinapark as a land steward and she was from Newrath Bridge; her father was William SLATER, bricklayer. Children include William (Jabez) Fox b. 1868; Samuel FOX b. 1870; Charles FOX b. 1872 and John FOX b. 1876. Francis is found in 1901 and 1911 census in Miltown, Glenealy, Wicklow living with son John. Although all children were baptised at Ashford RC parish, all are listed as COI in census records. William FOX married Sarah BRIEN(BRYAN) abt 1864. Children, all baptised RC, include: Sarah, William, James, Joseph, John William, Thomas, Catherine and Elizabeth. note: sources Irish Family History Foundation online records and National Library of Ireland P6478 Robert FOX married Mary BRIEN(BRYAN) 23 Jan 1869 at RC chapel Bray; witnesses were Thomas BRIEN and Eliza BRIEN. He lived in Ballinapark as laborer and she was from Ashford; her father was James BRIEN(BRYAN). Children, all baptised RC in Wicklow or Ashford parish, include: Arthur, Robert, James, William, Patrick, Thomas, Mary and Sarah. This is my line. Robert and several sons played association football for Rathnew in late 1890s. Arthur immigated to Philadelphia, USA in 1887 and James went there in 1895. Parents and remaining children immigrated to Philadelphia in Jul 1901 but are found in 1901 census at PLU Rathdrum, Arklow Barony, East Dungstown Parish, Maghera Beg townland as agricultural laborers. note: sources Ireland Census of 1901, National Library of Ireland P 6478 and P6482, St. Patrick's RC parish Wicklow records, Fox family records (this is my line).
