But I may have gathered snippets who knows I just wrote and wrote on the days I was able to visit the Library in Dublin. And as I began to feel my old self again, which was towards the end of my trip, time continued to tick at a double rate, so I put on my best smile, my best walking shoes, and simply accepted it was not going to be a researching holiday, but a holiday to rest, and enjoy the scenery, so with my camera on my shoulder a prayer on my lips I went off and for the first time in 20 years I became simply a tourist in Ireland, oh what a delight it was the weather was kind, ( only 5 days rain) and the the short trips I was able to endure, I added many many photos of nothing but delightful scenery ( with a headstone and church or two) to my already large file. I am sorry for those I intended to do things for, but these things as they say are sent to try us, this time they tried me, I did not appreciate the asthma like condition I developed but I beat it in the end, and for a few weeks I revelled in no researching, and just being content to use my camera. So my apolgies to those of you who are waiting on bits n pieces on your research, and all that ( but dont think I did not harvest bits n pieces I did) But I simply concentrated on gathering with a wide open view to it being helpful to simply anyone who is on the lists I admin. I am now home where it is freezing and typing up some things, I will be loading pictures to the net, and will supply a link to my photos if anyone is at all intereted in seeing Ireland through my eyes. Thankyou for being a great list working along slowly whilst I simply ducked in and out and read snips n snaps of mails that appeared. I remain your friend Cara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Nelson" <wncn66@bluemarble.net> To: <irl-wicklow@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 30, 2010 2:09 AM Subject: Re: [IRL-WICKLOW] ROLL CALL SUGGESTIONS > Cara: > > Hope you are back home and feeling better. > > Were you able to find anything on the parents/siblings of Robert Jones b. > 1799 from Holdenstown.
