Hi I am wondering has anybody come across ASSELFORDs? Can also be spelt Astleford etc. but there seems to be a branch that used ASSELFORD. I think a John VALENTINE married a Mary ASSELFORD in 1815-1820, perhaps south Wicklow. She may have died by the mid 1830s and he may have remarried a RAINSFORD. Thanks Brendan
