Hi Pauline My gg-grandmother was Dorothy Fitzpatrick, born Arklow/its environs about 1840. She married John Byrne, probably in Arklow c. 1862, and had at least 4 children (I have their details) all baptised in Arklow, parish of Rathdrum. Just wondering if there is any connection with your Fitzpatricks??????
